Dog Obedience Classes 1-3 p.m. Sundays 5 weeks IT'S TIME FOR DOG OBEDIENCE CLASSES TO START ONCE AGAIN! Starting on March 25, 2012 through April 29, 2012 on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Joe Gauthier, former K-9 handler for the City of Cut Bank, and Tina Gauthier will be holding weekly Obedience Lessons on the south side of A. J. Park by the tennis courts on the northwest side of Cut Bank. If your dog is a little rusty on obedience after a long winter of laying by the fire, this is the perfect opportunity to get both of you back into shape. It is Joe's wish that all dog owners and adopters attend the classes. "The dogs learned basic obedience: sit, stay, stand, lay down, heel." Don't worry if you miss a class because of seeding or other activities. Joe and Tina retrain the missed class with you, so that you will be right in step with the other class members. Socializing, training, exercising and loving our animals are the most valuable things that we can give our animals. It instills a sense of confidence and self-esteem into a pet, so that the animal will be more personable and secure in their surroundings. If you or your dog need to brush up on training, we will be holding classes again in the fall. The only requirement is your dog, you and time. The lessons will be free to the public and will be taught through Adult Education classes. Participants will need to have a choker chain collar that is two inches larger than the size of their dog's neck and a four to six foot leash. We hope to see you on Sunday, March 25th.
