8/8/2008 [08-0802] Spirit
Aussie, brown/white, deaf, Male neutered, 1 Yr
ABANDONED:
Spirit is an Australian Shepherd dog, about 1 year old, and he is deaf. This doesn't seem to slow him down much. He has been the foster dad for the Andrew Sisters. He cleans them up and is very gentle with them. He is very smart, easy going, understands using a dog door, and likes to play fetch. He gets along fine with other dogs, but is still working on his social skills with cats. He is house-trained, fixed, up to date on his shots, and he is micro-chipped.
Spirit is in Billings. Please contact Teddee @

8/8/2008 [08-0801] Moxy
Aussie X, red/white, Male neutered, Puppy
OWNER TURN IN: Moxy was brought in from the reservation on September 31st. She is fairly young, so this is probably her first litter. She hasn't been treated nicely by people yet, so she is shy. We are working with her, and she has warmed up to her foster mom (the food lady). She will be fixed and given her shots as soon as the puppies are old enough to wean. The puppies were born around July 18th. There are 5 girls and one boy. One of the girls is predominately black. The boy is the smaller of the two puppies that is predominantly brown. They will be ready for adoption in the second week of September. They are being fostered in Billings. Puppies are Bazooka Joe, Jelly Bean, Gum Drop, Lollie Pop,Tootsie Roll, and Skiddles
8/7/2008 [08-0807] Max
German Shepherd, black/tan, Male neutered, 10 Mo
OWNER TURN IN: On Sunday Max was hit by a car. He hit the side of the vehicle, and has a broken leg. He also got a little road rash, but sustained no internal damage. He is having a plate put in his leg today, so that it will set properly. The plate will have to remain in for 4-8 weeks. Then hopefully he will be good a gold. Vet bills are in access of $2,500 so donations toward his bills are needed and would be greatly appreciated.
We adopted Max out in December of '07 when he was about 3 months old. He is 10 months old now. He ended up living outside. He is most of the way housebroken now though, and learning sit and stay. He will need a little work on manners, as he hasn't had enough attention in the last few months. He is a very smart boy, so he will be easy to train. He is sweet, and loves everyone. He is in Hardin if you would like to see him. He is very smart, and loves children. We think he may be a purebred German Shepherd. He doesn't look like anything else.
His adoption fee is $110
