9/5/2010 [10-Holly] Holly
Collie/Shepherd, tan with black, Female spayed, Adult Collar: black
OWNER TURN IN: Holly is a completely low maintenance dog with great manners. She doesn't chew or counter surf and gets along great with most other dogs, cats and horses. She just wants to hang out with you and go where you go. Holly was surrendered by her owners after she became too protective of their eight year old daughter and snapped at a playmate- so she would not do well in a house with kids. But she would be great for a single person living alone! She loves to go hiking, play in the wading pool and go on mountain bike rides. Holly is being fostered in Boulder- if you're interested contact lotsadogsmt@hotmail.com or (406)949-5364 to set up a time to meet her.
8/28/2010 [10-1180] Copper
Pit Bull/Lab X, red brindle, Male neutered, 3 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Gentle and easy to please, Copper, a 3 year old Pitbull cross, is ready to find his perfect home. Copper was turned in by his owners because he was killing chickens. He knows a few basic commands, like sit, shake and come, but may need a bit more work on his obedience training. Copper loves to play, especially fetch and tug, although he gets winded quickly due to his size. Copper weighs somewhere around 90 pounds, but is a gentle giant who likes to cuddle with you and sleep next to you. He loves kids, although really young kids may make him a little nervous from time to time. He is housebroken and does well with other dogs. Copper would love an active home where he could get plenty of playtime, exercise, and a whole lot of lovin' from his new family.
8/27/2010 [10-1172] Sampson
German Shepherd, black/brown, Male neutered, 2-3 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: Beautiful and bubbly are just a few of the amazing characteristics used to describe Sampson, a 3 year old German Shepherd who was turned into the shelter after his owner had a new baby and just didn't have enough time for him anymore. Sampson knows all of his basic obedience commands and is very well mannered. He barks a little bit when meeting new people, but once he gets to come up to you, he is very polite. Sampson loves to play, and it really doesn't matter what type of game or toy you have planned, he will be more than happy to participate. Sampson has lived with both cats and dogs in his previous home and does well with both. Sampson adores children and has lived with kids of all ages in his previous home, although he may play a little rough for extremely young children. He was mostly an outside dog, but has never had accidents in his old home. Sampson would love an active home where he could be a family dog and go hiking, camping, or just hang out at his new home.
8/26/2010 [10-1163] Shanay
Lab, chocolate, Female spayed, 2 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Camping, swimming, and hiking are just a few of the many activities that Shanay, a 2 year old Chocolate Lab, enjoys to do on a regular basis. Shanay was turned in by her owners because they did not have room for her in the home. She knows a few basic commands but may need some work on other obedience training in the future. Kids, especially smaller children, are a little too unnerving for this lovely girl, so a home with kids in their teens and older would be best for her. Shanay likes to play and it doesn't really matter what game you want to play, she is willing to try anything. Although she has lived with other dogs previously, Shanay can be a bit picky about her canine companions. Shanay is looking for an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and down time with her family.
8/19/2010 [10-1135] Willow
Catahoula X, red merle, Female spayed, 10 Mo Collar: green/orange
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Willow, a loving, playful, bubbly catahoula cross who was turned in to the shelter because she had a little too much energy for her elderly owner. Willow knows how to sit and will lay down, but still needs some training to be the best dog possible. Since Willow was an outside only dog in her previous home, she will need a refreshener on her potty training, but she is very smart and willing to please. Willow loves other dogs and likes to play with them although she can be a little submissive when dogs get extremely wild while playing. Although she loves kids, Willow would need a home with older children, as she likes to jump up and has a tendency to nip at them when she is excited. Willow would like a home where she could get plenty of exercise and playtime as well as plenty of attention from her new family. Out on PAWSability!
8/19/2010 [10-1133] Dozer
Japanese Chin, white with black, Male neutered, 1 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Dozer, a 1 year old Japanese Chin who was turned in by his owner because he does not do well with the young children. Dozer has lived with other dogs as well as cats and seems to do well with both. Dozer likes to play, but can be a bit rough with his toys every once in a while, so he has a tendency to go through them very quickly. One of his favorite games is chase, although every once in a while he likes to wrestle too. Dozer knows how to sit and will come when called, but still needs some work on his obedience training. He does not like to be picked, though he sometimes picks and chooses who he will let handle him. He seems to be a little scared of women, but once he gets to know you, he does very well. Dozer can not go into a home with kids. Dozer needs an experienced owner who would be willing to work with him on his training, as well as give him the love and attention that he deserves. Out on PAWSability.
8/16/2010 [10-1124] Clyde
American Shelter Dog, white with brown, Male neutered, 3 Yr
STRAY: York Rd.
Clyde, an adorable, wiggly American Shelter Dog, came in as a stray in mid August with his canine companion Bonnie, after roaming around on York Road. Clyde is a gentle giant, weighing in at 70 pounds, who loves to be with his people. When you call him over to you, Clyde will wiggle his whole body in excitement. Clyde knows how to sit but still needs some work on his obedience training to be the best dog he can be. Clyde seems to like other dogs. He likes children of any age, although he may be a little large in size for toddlers. Clyde would love a home where he could go run, play and getting some well deserved loves from his new family.
8/16/2010 [10-1123] Bonnie
Heeler, black/grey, Female spayed, 2 Yr
STRAY: York Rd.
Laid back and a little bit shy, Bonnie, a 2 year old heeler, awaits her new family to come and find her. Bonnie was brought in as a stray in mid August, along with her friend, Clyde, after running around on York Road. Although Bonnie is shy, she is very sweet and is looking for someone that she can bond with. She knows a few basic commands, as in sit and lay down, but may still need a little work on her obedience training. She does ok with other dogs, although she can get a little snotty from time to time. A meet and greet at the shelter is required before she can leave the shelter into a multi-dog home. Bonnie could NOT go into a home with cats, as she likes to stalk and potentially bite them. She seems to like kids, although calmer, older children might be best for this low key gal. Bonnie would like a home where she could get plenty of exercise and lots of love from her new owner.
8/13/2010 [10-1109] Stewart
Shih Tzu, black/grey, Male neutered, 2 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Stewart, an energetic 2 year old Shihtzu who was brought in to the shelter by a concerned citizen after finding him wandering around near Custer Avenue. Stewart is a very sweet little dog with a great personality. He loves to be outside and go on walks with his family. He does well with kids, although extremely young children, toddlers and younger, may be a little too much for this boy. He does well with other dogs and as well as with cats. Stewart would love to have a home where he could go on walks, car rides, or even go camping with his new loving family.
8/10/2010 [10-1091] Shawn
Shepherd X, black/tan, Male neutered, 6 Mo
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Shawn, a shy, yet loving, boy who was turned in by his owner because he was very timid and easily frightened. Shawn needs a bit of socialization to new environments and other animals. Since coming back to the shelter, Shawn has been very submissive and scared and at first would run away when you approached him, but slowly he is getting better with people and new things. He is currently kenneled with another dog, who is helping bring up Shawn’s self-esteem. Shawn would be able to live with both dogs and cats. Kids may be a little much for Shawn, so children in their teens would be best for him. Shawn likes to play, especially with other animals. He would love a home where he could get plenty of time to work on his confidence and get enough exercise and love from his new family.
8/7/2010 [10-1085] Hercules
Pit Bull, brown/white, Male neutered, 2 Yr Collar: red plaid
STRAY: Lewis and Clark County
Just like any dog, Hercules loves to go walking, hiking or play with his owners. Hercules, a 2 year old pit bull, came in to the shelter in early August and has since been waiting for his new home. Hercules knows a few basic commands, although he can still be pretty stubborn when asked to sit. He would benefit from more basic obedience training once he leaves the shelter. Hercules does NOT do well with cats and could not go into a home with felines, as he would most likely try to eat them. Hercules likes kids and could go with children who are old enough to withstand his energy. He is very sweet and would like to be a lap dog if possible, but is also happy to just hang out at your feet at the end of a long day. Hercules is looking for a home where he can get plenty of exercise and time with his family.
8/7/2010 [10-1083] Lucky
Kelpie X, grey, Male neutered, 1 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Lucky was brought in to the shelter in early August after he was having a few problems with chewing, digging and submissive urination in his home. Lucky can be fairly shy and a little timid around men, but is a very loving dog once he gets used to you. He likes to play fetch, tug and chase, and has lived with other dogs in his previous home. Lucky likes cats, but has a tendency to chase them. He spent most of his time outdoors, so potty training is recommended, as well as a few other basic obedience commands. Lucky likes kids and could live with children of any age, though they need to be respectful of his space and not rush up to him unexpectedly. Lucky would like an active home where he could go on runs, hikes and get plenty of exercise.

STRAY: KOA campground

This adorable pug/shepherd cross was brought in as a stray after running around the KOA Campground in early August. Brutus is quite the doll who loves to play, especially keep away and chase, although toys are good to play with too! Archie is a 2 year old, medium sized dog, weighing in at around 56 pounds. He knows some basic obedience training, but would still enjoy going through training and have some bonding time with his new owner. Archie seems to do well with other animals, and would be able to live with kids who are past the toddler stage because of his high energy level. Archie would love an active home where he could get plenty of exercise and playtime.
8/2/2010 [10-1041] Bomber

STRAY:
Energetic and playful, Bomber is a 2 year old lab cross who was brought in as a stray in the beginning of August by the County Animal Control. He is a very strong boy, and he doesn't have obedience training yet, but he is very smart and willing to learn. He likes to play, especially tug-of-war, but can be a little over exuberant while playing. Bomber is quite a lover, although sometimes he can get over-excited and tries to mount and hump, and does not like to let go, so an experienced owner would be best for this big boy. He could live with kids, but would do best with older kids, preferably in their late teens, because of his strength. Bomber would love a home where he could get plenty of exercise and go on long walks and hikes with his new family.

She hasn't been too interested in playing here at the shelter, but once she gets into a home she would be more than happy to play, or just sit back and hang out with the family. She can be a little shy when first meeting people and when she is put into a new situation, but she is quick to warm up. Mugsy does well with other dogs, and loves to play with them if they can tolerate her energy level while playing. She would do best with a little bit older kids because of her shy tendencies. STRAY: Main St., E. Helena

7/23/2010 [10-0975] Pip
Mixed Breed, brown/white, Male neutered, 3 Yr
STRAY: Boulder
Pip, a cute, lovable mixed breed, was brought in as a stray in late July. Pip knows how to sit, but doesn't know any other commands, so basic obedience training is recommended. Pip left the shelter soon after his arrival, but was brought back because he was biting when he was taken off of the furniture. This is a trainable behavior if you are willing to put in the time and effort to modify it. Pip seems to do well with dogs, and does well with cats, but more laid back animals would probably be best for him. Pip likes to play, especially fetch or tug, but is more than happy to just sit and hang out with you. Pip needs a little bit of leashwork as he likes to pull, and even though he is a small dog, weighing only 21 pounds, he can still manage to pull you around. Pip would do best in a home with older children. The best home for this little guy would be one where he can go on walks every day and have plenty of time to hang out with the family. Out on PAWSability.

She knows how to sit, but needs some work on her basic obedience training, and can tend to be a bit jumpy from time to time. She likes to play, but is a little nervous about playing here at the shelter. Young kids can be a bit scary for Gypsy, so a home with other children would be best. He likes to play and does extremely well with other dogs. His favorite game is chase and if there is another dog around he will gladly run in circles just so they can chase him. Since Cooper loves to run, agility classes may be a good idea for this little fellow. Young children are a little scary for Cooper, so a home with kids in their teens or older would be best for him. Cooper would love a home where he could go running, hiking, or play in the yard and become a loving member of the family. Out on PAWSability!

Petey doesn't do well with cats, rabbits or any smaller animals as he likes to chase them, and he would be happiest being the only dog in the house, although he could potentially live with another dog if properly introduced. She loves to play any game, although fetch and chase are some of her favorites. Young kids are a little much for Joslyn and she tends to go hide if they are near, so older kids would be better for this girl. Although Joslyn is shy when first meeting people, she warms up quickly and would love to be part of an active family that would take her hiking and running so she can kill off some of her playful energy. He has lived with dogs previously and does well with them, but could not live in a home with small animals as he likes to chase them. Bullet needs a home with either older children, or no kids at all, as they tend to frighten him. The best home for Bullet would be an active one, where he could get plenty of exercise and attention. Out on PAWSability!

She walks well on a leash, but if something distracts her, like a bunny or a cat, she may pull a little harder than usual. Betsy is good with other dogs and could potentially live with children that are well mannered that won't rush up into her face. Vinny can be a little eccentric when first meeting people but once he gets used to you, he is a giant bundle of love. In his previous home, Langy was an outside only dog, so house breaking may need a little work, but he is very smart and willing to please his new owners. Small kids are probably not a good idea for Langy because he doesn't realize that he is 84 pounds and has potential to knock them over by accident. Langy would love an active home where he could go on hikes, walks, and runs with his now family. Out on PAWSability.

Napi loves to be outside and go on walks, and even though he is old, he is happy going out and about with you during the day. He doesn't know very many obedience commands, but he is very well mannered, even without them. Napi tries as hard as he can to stay clean in his kennel, and usually can go all day without having accidents, but every once in a while he can't make it outside in time. Napi likes cats as well as other dogs, although he would prefer some other older, more laid back animals to be with. Kids are okay in Napi's book, as long as they know when to give him his space when he needs it. Napi would love a home where he could sit back and relax at home, with an occasional walk with his new devoted family. Out on PAWSability!

Sadie will sit, lay down, and come when called and is very eager to learn any new commands that you would like to teach her. Sadie has lived with dogs and cats in her previous home and did well with both of them, though she may chase the cats from time to time. Even though Sadie was an outside only dog, she is always clean in her kennel in the mornings and patiently waits to go outside to go to the bathroom. Sadie is very frightened of small children, and tends to bark and back away when they are close to her, so a home with older kids, preferably in their teens. Sadie would love to have a new home where she could go hiking and camping with her new family.
6/8/2010 [10-0699] Raja
Lab/Hound X, black with white, Male neutered, 7 Mo
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Raja, a loving, excitable Lab/Hound cross who had been turned in by his owners because they just didn't have enough time for him. Raja is very smart and knows how to sit and will come when called but needs a little more training. He is very gentle while playing and boy, does he love to play with anything you give him! He may be a little scared of strangers, so a home without a ton of visitors would be best. Raja would be able to live in a home with other dogs and young children, although he is a bit timid around cats so he would need to be introduced properly. Raja would love an active home where he could get plenty of exercise and attention. Sent to foster care. Out on PAWSability.
6/5/2010 [10-0685] Chicka
Retriever/Shepherd X, black, Female spayed, 3 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: If you are looking for a dog to take swimming and play fetch with, then Chicka is the dog for you! Chicka is quite the athlete. She could easily play catch with the tennis ball for hours, and if you aren't paying enough attention to her, she will pick of the ball and put it right into your hand, just so you know what your priorities are! She loves water and is more than happy to play in it, whether it’s a kiddy pool or just a large puddle on the sidewalk. Chicka is very shy when she first meets people, and can be pretty unsure about new people, but warms up quickly with a good game of fetch. Chicka was turned in by her owner because she kept jumping the fence and running loose throughout the neighborhood, and although she knows her basic commands, she could definitely use some more training. Chicka has lived with other dogs previously as well as cats, although she did not get along with her feline companions very well, so a cat free home would probably be best for her. Chicka may need some work on potty training as she was an outside only dog, but she is very smart and willing to learn. A home with small kids is probably not a great idea, seeing how Chicka can be very shy and timid, but older kids, in high school and up, would be perfect companions for this sweet gal. Chicka would love an active home where she could get plenty of exercise, whether it be swimming, running, hiking, camping or playing fetch.
6/2/2010 [10-0671] Amelia Bedalia
Sharpei X, brindle, Female spayed, 2 Yr Collar: black
STRAY: Wylie and CFR
Though Amelia may be shy, she is also very bubbly and has quite the personality! Amelia came in as a stray in early June from Wylie Drive and sadly, no one came to look for this sweet girl. Amelia doesn't seem to have any formal obedience training, but that may be because this environment is just too much for her to feel comfortable enough to open up. Amelia gets very excited to go outside and becomes very loving once she gets used to you. She would do best in a home with older children where she could have plenty of time to adjust and be able to go on long walks and hikes with the family.
5/25/2010 [10-0612] Suki
Shepherd, white, Female spayed, 3 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Meet Suki, a very smart, loving and loyal shepherd who was turned in with her companion, Nikyo, because she was "too much" for her owner. Suki is a very nice girl who knows how to sit, stay, lay down, come and shake. She has a lot of energy and loves to play, especially tug. She has lived with other dogs in her previous home, as well as cats. Suki can be a bit protective when strangers come near, but once she gets comfortable with you is a very sweet girl. Suki has lived with children before and would do well with older children who can withstand her energy. Unfortunately, Suki has a tendancy to resource guard her food, and growls if you put your hand near the bowl. This is a trainable and managable behavior with the right amount of time. Suki would do best in an active home where she could get plenty of exercise and playtime as well as continue her training outside of the shelter. Out on PAWSability.
5/20/2010 [10-0594] Tucker
Husky/Pit Bull X, brown/white, Male neutered, 5 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: Tucker was brought in by his latest owner because she was unable to keep him where she had lived. Tucker has had a rough start to life before coming to the shelter. He was extremely malnourished when he came in and had been passed around from home to home for the past month because his previous owner did not care whether he was there or not. Tucker is a very sweet and loving boy once he gets to know you, although he can be a little shy at first. Tucker knows how to sit, stay, and lay down, but may still need a little work on his obedience training. Tucker loves to play, mostly with his owner, but will play off by himself if he needs to. Tucker seems to be shy around cats and could potentially live peacefully with them in his new home. He has lived with other dogs in his previous home so he would be able to go into a home with other dogs if properly introduced. Tucker would do best in a home with older children as he tends to play a little rough for young children. Tucker needs an active home where he can get plenty of love and attention, as well as playtime and exercise.
5/11/2010 [10-0553] Coal
Lab, black, Male neutered, 1 Yr Collar: red
STRAY: Mortan
Coal is an exuberant, energetic, lovable lab cross who came in as a stray in mid May. Coal loves to play, especially keep away, but a good game of fetch is always good too. Coal needs some work on his basic commands, but is very motivated and is willing to learn. Coal could live with other dogs if properly introduced, as well as with cats, though if he would probably chase them if they ran. Coal loves children and is ready to give kisses whenever they want, and could live with kids of any age. Coal would do best in an active home where he could get plenty of exercise with his family.
4/23/2010 [10-0471] Mya
Malamute, white/black, Female spayed, 5 yrs. Collar: chain
ABANDONED: Ray Rd.
Meet Mya, a very loving, cuddly malamute cross who came to us after being abandoned by her previous owner. Mya knows how to sit, but may need some more obedience training to be the best companion she can be. She loves to play but cannot have stuffed toys, as she loves to tear them apart and dissect them. Mya can be a bit picky about her canine companions so a meet and greet would be required before she could go to a home with another dog. Young children may be a bit much for Mya, so a home with kids who would be willing to give her space when she needs it would be best. Although Mya is about 5 years old, she still has a lot of puppy energy and would love to go to a home where she could go on walks and hikes with her new family. Out on PAWSability!
4/20/2010 [10-0452] Max
Lab X, black, Male neutered, 2 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: If you are looking for a bouncy, energetic and loving dog, then Max is the dog for you. Max was brought back to the shelter after being adopted because he was just too much for his owner to manage. Max definately has enough energy to share and although he knows his basic commands like sit, stay, and come, he would benefit greatly from more training and could possibly be a good agility dog. Max seems to do well with other dogs, and has lived with cats, but will chase them if they run. Max loves to play fetch and will bring the toy back to you so you can throw it again. Although Max loves kids, he may be a bit much for small toddlers and would most likely knock them over by accident. Max needs a home where he will get plenty of love and attention, as well as plenty of exersize. He would be a great candidate for running, hiking, and camping with his new family.
4/20/2010 [10-0444] Misty
Lab X, black, Female spayed, 3 Yr Collar: black
STRAY: Town Pump on Lane
Misty is an adorable, loving lab cross who came to us as a stray in mid-April. She is very energetic and loves to play. Misty knows how to sit and lay down, but would definitely need some basic obedience training to be the best dog she can be. She is very people oriented and would make a good hiking companion throughout the year. Misty could NOT live in a home with cats, as she is more inclined to chase and bite them than to live peacefully with them. Misty could live with kids who would be able to stand up to her energy. The best home for Misty would be a home where she could get plenty of exercise and different activities like hiking, walking, and camping with her new family.
4/18/2010 [10-0440] Caprice
Retriever X, black, Female spayed, 5-7 yrs.
STRAY: Harrah and N. Montana
Meet Caprice, a very energetic, middle-aged retriever cross who came in as a stray in mid April from Montana Avenue. Caprice knows how to sit and stay, but would still need some basic obedience training to strengthen those behaviors. She is very energetic, even though she is an older dog, between 5 and 7 years of age. Caprice loves to be around people, but would be a bit much for younger children, so kids in their teens and older would be best for her. Caprice can be a little picky about having her feet and neck handled, but in general is a sweet and loving dog who wants nothing more than to be outside with you. Caprice would do best in a home where she could go on long walks and hikes with her new family. Out on PAWSability!
3/2/2010 [10-0247] Fletcher
Shepherd X, black/tan, Male neutered, 3 Yr
STRAY: East Pacific
Meet Fletcher, a very loving, playful, 3 year old Shepherd cross, who came in as a stray off of East Pacific in early March. Fletcher knows all of his basic commands, and is more than happy to learn more tricks if you are willing to teach him. Playing is definitely on the top of Fletchers To-Do list, and he is more than happy to play fetch, tug-of-war, or play by himself, with any toy you give him. Fletcher has a lot of energy, so he would do best in a home where he could get plenty of exercise, whether it would be hiking, running, walking or just playing in the yard. Fletcher can be a little shy around children, so he would do best with kids who understand and respect Fletchers boundaries.
10/1/2009 [09-1535] Berry
American Shelter Dog, black, Female spayed, 5 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: Berry is a sweet, loving lab/husky mix who was brought in by her owners because they were moving and were unable to take her with. She knows how to sit, lay down, stay and come, and rides very well in a car. She is more than willing to come with you wherever you go, but would also be happy sitting at home, waiting to greet you when you come back. Berry has lived with cats, and does well with most other dogs, though an older, calmer dog may be best for her. Tug and chase are a few of her favorite games to play, and she will gladly play with or without you. Sadly, Berry was an outside only dog, so she may not be house broken, but tends to be very clean in her kennel. Unfortunately, Berry does have some health problems. Recently, she has been favoring her back left leg, and when she was taken to the vet, found that she had an old injury, a blown crutiate, that was never repaired. She also has bad hips, which will require medication for the duration of her life. In order for the torn crutiate to be repaired, Berry will have to undergo a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), which can cost anywhere between $1500-2500 or so. The shelter is unable to afford such a surgery and is hoping that Berry will soon find a loving, forever home with someone who is willing and able to give her the veterinary care that she needs. Sent to foster care.
7/12/2009 [09-0998] Sonya
Rott/Shepherd X, grey, black, tan, Female spayed, 6 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: She is good with all animals and with livestock. she loves food and walks, but unfortunately gets carsick, although she would still love to go. She uses a doggie door and is completely housebroken. Very, very loving girl. Would be best in a home with children over 10. In foster care, with notice she could be brought to the shelter.
12/10/2008 [08-1890] Wilbur
Pit Bull/Boxer X, brown/white, Male neutered, 1 Yr
STRAY: McDonald Trailor Court
What happens when you cross a Boxer with a Pit Bull? You get a smart, self-confident, attentive mix like Wilbur, a neutered male, about 1 year old. Dog enthusiasts say that the Boxer, a German breed, is known for being active, positive, fun loving, and typically gentle with children. Pit Bulls, an American breed, have a reputation they usually don't deserve because, when trained from an early age, they can be companionable, outgoing, and happy to please. Wilbur, we believe, has the best of both breeds. He arrived, as a stray but clearly has been well handled and socialized. He's wiggly and affectionate, outgoing and energetic. Wilbur is good with other dogs, though he seems a little too interested in cats to live with them comfortably. And he's great with kids. He's ready and eager to be a great companion in a good home. View a video of Wilbur Here Sent to foster care.
2/7/2008 [08-0164] Murphy
Lab X, black, Male neutered, 2 Yr
STRAY:
Murphy was found as a stray South of Boulder along Highway 69 in February. A good Samaritan fearing for his safety pulled over and rescued him from the busy highway. He is a very handsome yet large dog weighing in at 86 pounds. He is definitely not an apartment dog. He is housebroken and is patiently waiting for a home with a big fenced yard to play and relax in. He would need a home with an experienced owner with older or no children. In Foster Care.
