9/1/2008 [08-027]
Doxie, red, Female, Adult
ABANDONED:
This little gal is in a foster home for the time being. After a car sped away she was found in the parking lot at a fishing area near a popular walking trail . She is very loving and gentle.
9/1/2008 [08-026] Tucker
Lab, chocolate, Male neutered, Young Adult Collar: red
ABANDONED:
Tucker is eager to please, he was saved at the last minute from a vet office that was to euthanize him. He comes from a broken home that did not care what happened to him. We were told that the neighbors were also trying to end his life due to his running and romancing. I guess Tucker might be part cat and has several lives left.
9/1/2008 [08-026]
Airedale X, black/white, Male Intact, Young Adult
STRAY:
This guy is just a wonderful dog, a big push over. He loves life and everything in it, especially children because he thinks he is one.
9/1/2008 [08-024]
Aussie, red/white, Male neutered, Adult
ABANDONED:
He came in with 08-023. Not sure where their owners are but these two are eager to go home. Not sure if he is trained to work. Very friendly and loves to cuddle on your lap.
9/1/2008 [08-023]
Cow Dog, possible Heeler, white, Female spayed, Adult
ABANDONED:
She was found running with an aussie which we feel they came from the same home. They like to be together.
9/1/2008 [08-022] Alex
Aussie X, white/brown, Male neutered, Young Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Alex does ok around livestock and other dogs but would rather be the only dog. He does not do well around young children. He does not run.
7/23/2008 [08-021a]
Hound/Lab, black/white, Female, Puppy Collar: black harness
ABANDONED:
Found in the shelter play yard. Very sweet and energetic. Looks to be about 4 to 5 months old.
7/23/2008 [08-021]
Heeler X, white/black spots, Male neutered, Puppy
STRAY:
Shy at first but who wouldn't be when you end up at the shelter. Came in around the 4th scared from all the fire works. Nice gentle dog.
6/27/2008 [08-018] Tinker
Husky X, white, Female spayed, Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Tinker was with us before and is back because the new family thought they wouldn't have the time to spend with her and give her all the things that she needed. The kids wanted a pet but didn't think about all the running they did. Tinker is a wonderful dog and does well with other pets or just by herself.
3/9/2008 [08-006] Sam
Catahoula X, black/white, Male neutered, Young Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Sam is a very loyal family pet. He thought his job was to move the cows from his home and the next three ranches to the next county. Needs some guidence and a loving family because he has a lot of love to give.
3/9/2008 [08-005] Lightening
Lab X, black, Female, Young Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Lightening was a stray at a local ranch and she was very scared and shy. It took the rancher about 6 months to get her to trust him to where he was able to catch her. She is still a little unsure of being at the shelter but is happy and loving to us. She will be a great loyal dog.
9/9/2007 [07-009] Cody
Mixed, black, Male neutered, Young Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Cody outgrew his family. He is a very playful boy and is a little bit dominate but hopefully being neutered he will become a much better pet. He gets along with other dogs until their play becomes too rough, then he is not sure what to do but show teeth. He is not aggressive and easily backs down.
