| Description: DSH Color: black/white Male neutered, Young Adult ABANDONED, Notes: Popeye is a handsome boy who came to us all the way from Beirut, Lebanon. He is mostly blind - we had to remove one eye after he arrived, though he seems to be able to see shapes and shadows from his remaining eye. Yet he gets around incredibly well, jumping and running and pretty much zooming wherever he wants to go. If you watched him navigate around you'd have little idea he was blind. He is a very sweet fellow who loves affectionate and will purr up a storm, but on first meeting he can be a bit skittish and unsure. Once he warms up, though, you've got a lovebug on your hands. He loves to play with toys, particularly anything that moves and jingles. We've found that he would do best in a home where he is the only cat, since he can be a bit cranky with other cats at times. |
