| Description: German Shepherd/Hound X Color: black/tan Male neutered, 11 months OWNER TURN IN Notes: Truman's human momma got cancer and has been so sick with her chemo treatments, she just hasn't been able to take care of this boy as she should. So sad how this horrible disease can effect all in it's path. This gorgeous dog was raised in a loving home and it shows - he is a big, squishy ol' love bug! Believe it or not, he is from the same litter of pups as our other dog, Buck, but they have different daddies. (Yup, their momma was a "busy" girl! (o:) Truman is so much fun! He loves to romp around in that big galoot kind of way, give you kisses, loves to chase laser lights, knows sit and minds very well. Of course, he is still a pup but you can just see the intelligence in those eyes and all he wants to do is to please his owner. Growing up as an only dog, he has discovered that it is a BLAST to play with others of his kind - Valencia and Corona are his "girls". Not a malicious bone in this boy's body and very trainable. Never been around cats and would be good with children but perhaps older kids who won't get knocked over. Housebroke, up to date on shots, microchipped and will be neutered before adoption . . . Truman is beautiful not only on the outside but in heart and soul as well. To quote his namesake, President Truman said: "Children and dogs are as necessary to the welfare of the country as Wall Street and the railroads." So be a good American and adopt Truman! |
